So, the Romney camp shot a commercial during this town hall and afterwards the lighting guy from the production company asked me how the light was. Of course I was thinking that it was a little late to ask how the light was - the commercial was shot already. He should have figured that out before hand.

I know that I occasionally do things that I find embarrassing later on, sometimes they are just dumb, but this guy just baffles me.

Why even try if you are not going to look through the lens, see what you are focused on, or even acknowledge what your subject may or not be? I guess anyone can be a news photographer these days.

I just couldn't tell this woman that the focus range of her camera is four feet to infinity and she is too close. Capa would have told me that she needed to be close and Cartier-Bresson would have reminded me that focus is optional and over rated.
